Giuseppe Caci

1. A Childhood Among Waves and Adventures

Giuseppe has been immersed in the scent of the sea from a very young age. Growing up among his father’s boats and excursions, he showed a natural inclination and passion for the salty waters. His favorite pastime was observing and learning from his father’s movements, like a young sailor mastering the art of navigation.

2. Nautical Training

With the dream of turning his passion into a profession, Giuseppe pursued his studies at the Nautical Institute, where he graduated as a third officer cadet (junior captain). During his school years, he stood out for his dedication and curiosity about all aspects of navigation and life at sea. His diploma was not just an academic achievement but the first step toward a career that would take him across the Mediterranean.

3. Mediterranean Crossings

Giuseppe continued to nurture his love for the sea by exploring the Mediterranean waters with his current vessel, Mayreau. Each voyage is an adventure, a story waiting to be told: from long journeys taking him from Palermo to Barcelona, and from the Balearic Islands to Sardinia, to the more intimate and enchanting routes around Sicily’s islands, such as the Aeolian and Egadi Islands.

4. The Sea as a Way of Life

For Giuseppe, every journey is an opportunity to explore, learn, and share the beauty of the sea with those who join him. Whether it’s a long crossing or a short sail around Sicily, Giuseppe doesn’t just command his boat—he conveys the magic and respect for the sea, making every experience unforgettable for those lucky enough to be by his side, as seen in the many reviews on Tripadvisor.
