With the dream of turning his passion into a profession, Giuseppe pursued his studies at the Nautical Institute, where he graduated as a third officer cadet (junior captain). During his school years, he stood out for his dedication and curiosity about all aspects of navigation and life at sea. His diploma was not just an academic achievement but the first step toward a career that would take him across the Mediterranean.
3. Mediterranean Crossings
Giuseppe continued to nurture his love for the sea by exploring the Mediterranean waters with his current vessel, Mayreau. Each voyage is an adventure, a story waiting to be told: from long journeys taking him from Palermo to Barcelona, and from the Balearic Islands to Sardinia, to the more intimate and enchanting routes around Sicily’s islands, such as the Aeolian and Egadi Islands.
